Being too busy with doing Windows10, I forgot to write about it, which is I updated to Apache 2.4.16 on Aug 5. Besides, くりくりさん told me PHP5.6.12 and MariaDB10.0.21, and I found phpMyAdmin4.4.13.1 yesterday, so I updated them all. Now I’ll write about them.
Hey, hey! come on!!
A mantis from the kitchen window on this morning. I put captions, he-he.
Upgrading from Win8.1 Pro to Win10 Pro.
Today, I upgraded my NJ2100 OS from Windows8.1 Pro(x86) to Windows10 Pro(x86).
I used the media creation tool. This time, I selected the option ‘Upgrade this PC now’ and ‘Keep Windows settings, personal files, and apps’. The PC had just 13.2 GB as free spaces on its C drive. But it brought no problems at the upgrade.
A clean install of Windows10.
Yesterday, I had a clean install for my Let’s note. The laptop is CF-J10TYAHR. This product isn’t included the list (T_T).
Very very sunny, today! Besides very muggy! But still in the rainy season(梅雨) around our area, I mean the northern part of Kyūshū(九州). The #12 typhoon(HALOLA) is approaching Kyūshū.
The day today is very hot and the fitting weather for Midsummer Day of the Ox(土用の丑の日). I wonder if you know the day when people eat grilled eel(鰻の蒲焼) in Japan though I didn’t have it today.
I took a picture of a large brown cicada(油蝉). When I see and hear these cicadas, I feel in the middle of the summer season this year. (^o^)/
Edit(Jul.26):
At 13:40 today, JMA predicted HALOLA weakened into a tropical depression again around tomorrow afternoon. I wish the forecast right.
I took another picture of cicadas. They are another popular cicada around my region called クマゼミ, literally “bear cicada”. They are bigger than large brown cicadas.
Edit2(Jul.27):
Around 21:00 on July 26, the #12 typhoon(HALOLA) weakened to a tropical depression earlier than JMA prediction. After all, we had weak rain and wind by it.
Edit3(Jul.30):
Yesterday, the end of this rainy season around our area coincided with release of Windows10. Well, just joking (*^_^*).
In fact, JMA announced the end of the rainy season about the northern part of Kyūshū(九州) and the northern part of Tōhoku(東北) on July 29.
I updated my Apache 2.4.12(httpd-2.4.12-win32-VC14.zip) to 2015 Jul 9 version because of Alternative chains certificate forgery (CVE-2015-1793).
It is built with ‘IPv6 Crypto apr-1.5.1 apr-util-1.5.4 apr-iconv-1.2.1 openssl-1.0.2d zlib-1.2.8 pcre-8.37 libxml2-2.9.2 lua-5.1.5 expat-2.1.0′. Its Changelog.
This version is also built with the latest Windows® Visual Studio C++ 2015 RC aka VC14. I began to use VC14 version on June 2 due to OpenSSL 1.0.2. If you use the version, you need to install vc_redist_x64/86.exe before installing the version.
I really appreciate Steffen’s hard and quick work. Thanks again, Steffen.
By the way, I take this occasion to update to phpMyAdmin 4.4.11 and MariaDB 10.0.20.
About phpMyAdmin I noticed two differences. From the version 4.4.10 the download URL changed from sourceforge.net to phpmyadmin.net. And this version, I mean 4.4.11, they provide not only MD5/SHA1 but PGP. I wonder if something happened between sourceforge and phpmyadmin.
Yesterday, FireFox 39.0 came.
Yesterday, FireFox 39.0 came by automatic update.
Now FireFox deploys fixes for the Logjam attack really. You can see what vulnerabilities are fixed in 39.0 ⇒ Fixed in Firefox 39.
As you know, they fix a lot of vulnerabilities in each version. So you must keep your web browser up-to-date status. Well, this is not for web browsers only (^^;).
As I wrote before, my real life style very changed since the beginning of this year. Now I have gotten used to this, but it makes my translation progress more slowly though I continue. Please be patient.
I’ve posted the chapter 6, “Seijō no Ran (青条の蘭)” after a long long interval.
I heard Philae woke up…wow amazing!
Do you remember Philae? It was going to sleep last November. Rosetta and Philae teams continued to search for the current location of the lander, and they received the signals 20:28 UTC on 13 June. → Rosetta’s lander Philae wakes up from hibernation
Wow! amazing! Actually I wondered if it would wake up or not. But a miracle sometimes comes. Good!!
What will Philae ‘speak’ next? I can’t wait.
By the way, where is our Hayabusa2 traveling now?
Edit(Jun.20):
A new information about Philae, wow! Rosetta and Philae in contact again (Jun.19@13:37 UTC)
On the article, “We are very happy to have received signals from the lander again, and we are all working hard towards establishing a robust link between Rosetta and Philae,” comments Patrick Martin, ESA Rosetta mission manager.
Edit(Jun.26):
They announced “Rosetta mission extended” on June 23. They say, “Rosetta mission will be extended until the end of September 2016, at which point the spacecraft will most likely be landed on the surface of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.”
My KeyPaso has been broken!! (T_T)
When I turned it on this morning, my KeyPaso didn’t wake up. (T_T)
It gives me beep suddenly. I have been shattered, so I haven’t check it out yet (sigh).
