Spring is just round the corner. Right? In my garden the Ume(梅) tree has a lot of blossoms this year again. Mejiro and Hiyodori are coming almost everyday. They love Ume’s honey. Today I’ve seen Tsugumi(ツグミ) at the first time in rice fields.
By the way, do you remember the heavy snow in my town? On the day we had a record-breaking low temperature of my town. It was January 24. And now, 夏みかん(Citrus natsudaidai) tree in my garden is almost dying because of the low temperature. It’s called chilling injury. An expert said we could save the tree if the tree would be treated immediately. So I asked a familiar gardener to prune it.
In my town, I heard some other trees are influenced from chilling injury. I hope they get well again.
