Sometimes, I’ve seen a black kite from the car window while driving. So I always wanted to take its pictures, but I could not do well.
Yesterday I saw a black kite again. The black kite kept flying overhead even if I parked the car and got off. Fortunately I was able to shoot 35 photos, although electric wires were in the direction. I made them to a slide show. How is it?

Today I took photos of Segurosekirei. Actually, I wanted to take the photos of this bird again. But I couldn’t find it and I found Segurosekirei at the same place instead.
My photos are not good as always, but you can see this has a little more dark face than Hakusekirei, can’t you?
Today’s bird – a video of Ohban.
Recently, when I drive along the river on the way to and from home, I see them almost every time. They are Ohban. I think this year is the first year when I see them.
I couldn’t find some time to take photos of them until today and I did it today. I didn’t descend to the riverbank because I had no much time. I use zoom feature of DSC-WX220. So, their images are not clear. But one of them looked having something orange. Is it food?
Today’s bird – a photo of Ban(鷭).
All of them are Fuji (フジ).
Now we have the passing of spring and the approaching of summer around my region. I took pictures of the flowers all of which are Fuji (フジ) and a video of the birds which seem the same kind as on this post. I took the videos at the same pond. The birds look like longer diving than they on the old video. I’ll show you them though my skill isn’t so good. How about them?
On February 10, I saw an ume(梅) blossom on the tree in my garden and today ten or more blossoms because it was warm these few days. Spring is approaching us!
I posted a Shijūkara’s photo once, which was Spring. Today, I saw a bevy of Shijūkara on the ume(梅) tree in my garden. Its leaves are falling from the tree now, which is Autumn.
It’s very windy today. Besides, raining but spring rain, indeed. It’s warm.
I took pictures of Hakusekirei (M. a. lugens). They are very active in spite of rain and wind. Cute!!
Memorandum #9.
Yesterday, I saw a pretty flock of sparrows. Nowadays this is very rare in my town though I often saw flocks of sparrows in the rice fields when I was a child. I think the opportunities to see sparrows are decreased despite they were very popular birds and we have a lot of folktales of them. I took a picture of them.
Today I saw the bird on the left image. I think this is Shirohara. Am I correct?
