Hisho no Tori #1
Shinchosha’s quarterly magazine, yomyom vol.6, was published on Feb.28. One short story of ’12kokuki’ series appeared in it. The ’12kokuki’ is written by Ono Fuyumi. The last book of the series was published before six years and a half.
I read this short one immediately. I had a nice time with it. But, it’s very short for me who have been waiting new stories of this series. I want she writes a new long novel of this series very soon.

My old books.
I sold my old books to a used bookstore yesterday.
21 books were only 740 yen. But, it’s no problem.
The problem is I still have a respect for books. You might say I am very old-fashioned.
But, in my childhood, books was still precious and my parents told me to cherish my books. So, even now, I am consumed with guilt to throw books out as trash.
This is my honest feelings that I am happy to give him/her my used books if a person who reads them exists.

Do you know the sweets, Akafuku?
It is the famous sweets of Ise. It is the decent Japanese-style confection of simple structure which covered rice cake with red bean paste.
Although there were various food camouflage scandals last year, Akafuku is one of them.
But is it only me who consider the some difference between Akafuku problem and others?
Though it is bad that they were telling the lie, I think it wrong to measure problem solving towards stopping frozen storage.
If they will not carry out neither market expansion nor technical innovation, I can understand this solving. Are they going to back for 100 years?

The letter.
I got the letter from my ex spouse yesterday.
It was a too much unexpected letter.
After we were divorced, about 20 year passes. I have never a chance to meet him, and think never wanting to meet him. But the letter tells me that I still hate him and I never forgive him. Until I get this letter, I don’t know about my subconscious hostility.
A human creature is a living thing which cannot be understood.

today, i went to the tsurumi-ichiba station, for watching the hakone ekiden. only 5 seconds i saw the players going through.and i failed in taking pictures.
but, waseda university, which i graduated, led the race after the leg from Tokyo to Hakone on January 2nd.
i’m very glad.

fall has come this week. we had very very hot summer at our town. and it was still remaining in the middle of october, I guess. but suddenly we were getting cool. no, it is a little bit cold than cool.
in japan, many high schools have uniforms for students. traditionally, they order students to change from summer wear to winter wear on the first day of october. and changing from winter one to summer one is on the first day of june. we call it ‘koromogae’.
nowadays we use air-conditioner, we can control temperature in the room. so the time of ‘koromogae’ is not made clear. when i was a child, this custom remained strong.
the four seasons in Japan were very clear. our ancestors were agricultural people. they did various agricultural work together. they did many other practice all together, too. i think this made the basis of a japanese character. in those days, even clothes we did change together.
