Today, I at last reached the ending point. It’s really long way. 落照の獄 is very lacking encouraging story. It is beyond all help. I considered to quit this translation again and again. But I thought someone might wait my translation even if it is not good. So I continued.
AS 落照の獄 was originally divided into eight chapters and had 80 pages volume on the magazine, I tried to translate each two pages at a time. And now, I reconstruct its format.
If you want to read 落照の獄 by my translation, please go here. 落照の獄(Rakushō no Goku)

That is very nice of you to translate it until the end for those who doesn’t speak japanese.
Thank you ^_^
At last, I finished anyway, though I don’t know it’s complete or not.
Thanks for the translation.
Since you are the only active Juuni Kokuki translator at the moment I’m very grateful that you didn’t quit.
Thank you for your information about your work. Beautiful flowers.
I’ve finished about this but the translation of the newsletter remains. I’ll try to do it anytime soon (^o^).
I just wanted to say thank you. Translating a book must have been very tedious and time consuming. I have been wanting to read the twelve kingdom novels since young but due to language barrier I had no means of understanding it.
As an adult now i decided to look up if translations for her books were online and was so glad to find this site. Seeing such translations online was a great help and I’m sincerely thankful for it.
Thank you for your comment.
Now, in Japan, Shinchōsha has begun to publish the entire series of Juuni Kokuki in the new edition since this July. About this I translated here and here. In my opinion, because of this, I don’t know my opinion is right or not, NHK rebroadcasts the Anime Juuni Kokuki. Shinchōsha’s publishing plan contains a new short story and a new novel, which they say.
Unfortunately all of them in Japanese, but on the Shinchōsha‘s site you can see the new illustrations. Please enjoy them.
