This is a year of Hitsuji, according to the Oriental Zodiac.
We call ‘hitsuji’ ‘sheep’ in English. The illustration of this greeting card uses Hiragana “ひつじ” and the illustrator pulls the Hiragana into a real sheep shape. Can you see it? My guess tells it’s funny and cool v(^o^)v.

By the way, something reminds me. Do you remember this? Both of us are born in a year of Hitsuji. We are 年女 this year (^o^).
年女(toshi onna) = a woman who was born in a year with the same sign of the Oriental Zodiac as the current year. It is used in Japan.
If the person is male, we use the word 年男(toshi otoko).

Yes!! I remember :) we are both toshi onna. Back then you told me you are hitsuji too, but very older than me, so I know you are (23+12*n) What reminds me of a question I had. Here it is considered rude to ask people with more than a determinated age how old they are. Even thougth some don't care. Is it rude in Japan to ask how old a person is? If it is and I offended you I ask you sorry

Yes, it's rude if the person is female. Though I don't care very much, I'm afraid that it will surprise you and ruin my image in your mind because I'm very older than you. But I'll tell you it by the same way when you told your age to me. I'm itsubi (^_^).

Yes, it's easy if you use Ctrl+F on that page. It gives you only one result for your searching. But if not to use Ctrl+F, it definitely takes you to the terrible world jaja (^^;).
